The #BeLikeGina campaign featured a PSA that aired three times during National Kidney Month in March 2021. In conjunction we designed the BeLikeGina.org landing page featuring stories of altruistic living donors and information about the living donation process.
#BeLikeGina succeeded in inspiring:
- 21,000 visitors to learn more about living donation
- 50 people to fill out an interest form about living kidney donation
- 4 to begin the process to qualify as living kidney donors
The #BeLikeGina PSA connected being a living donor to a sense of purpose, which is how many altruistic donors explain their decision to donate.
